A two-week intensive program designed for the passionate young dancer eager to strengthen their technical foundation and experience the excitement of festival style training in a supportive and community focused environment. 

Dancers will participate in daily classes in a variety of styles including:

• Fundamentals such as ballet, contemporary, jazz

• Pre-hab and alignment

• Strength and flexibility training

• Commercial dance styles i.e. Hip hop, jazz funk, tap

• Contemporary floorwork, improvisation, composition, and much more! 

Participants will work with EDD company members as well as guest faculty and master choreographers. 

Other program offerings include lectures and workshops on a variety of topics, including, nutrition, college and career paths in dance, nervous system regulation, etc. The program culminates with a Festival Gala, featuring excerpts of EDD repertory, as well as world premieres by EDD company members and guest artists. 

Acceptance into the program is by audition and application only.
